Anti-US Rally at Punjab University
LAHORE: The Punjab University Student-Teacher Centre (STC) organised ‘Pakistan Zindabad Rally’ for the unity, integrity and solidarity of Pakistan at the New Campus on Tuesday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran led the rally in which deans of faculties, heads of teaching departments, faculty members and thousands of students participated enthusiastically.
The rally started from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA). Faculty members and students sang national song ‘Is Parcham Kay Saaye Talay Hum Aik Hain’ and chanted ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, waving national flags. They were also holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the United States and for the integrity and solidarity of Pakistan.
Later, huge gatherings of students and teachers joined the rally as it marched towards the Hailey College of Commerce, Law College and Undergraduate Studies. The rally concluded at the Institute of Education and Research (IER).
